In 1991 KDR selected the Ingres product, Windows4GL, now named CA-OpenRoad, as the development tool set for FMMS. CA-OpenRoad provided the ideal vehicle for development for the modern, windows based, client/server, and relational database application.

Market acceptance of FMMS was responsive and welcoming and in a short period of time KDR was able to boast a prestigious client list of 'blue chip' Australian and overseas organizations.
